MAZDASPEED 6 Borla S-Type (single exit)

Postby A&PwitMS6 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 9:14

I just got my Borla muffler put on this morning, and it sounds AMAZING... It is loads better than stock and the engine breathes so much better as well. I also have a custom made 2nd cat delete pipe.

I had an LS1 Camaro that I put a cat-back Borla on, so I can appreciate this.

Video was taken with a droid bionic phone, so sound could be a lil better... But i think it turned out ok compared to some other exhaust vids ive seen. Also it is the day of the install, so the muffler hasnt fully broken in yet.

Sounds awesome! And for a phone, that was much better than almost every other exhaust video out there.

I just went from 6 to midnight. I am debating bumping up DP and or exhaust as my next mod. leaning towards single because I dont like the thought of a 4 cylinder having dual exhaust

I agree, there's really no reason for a 4-cylinder to need dual exhausts.

Dual exhaust outs look more aggressive than a single.

On the MS6, it still has the dual tips molded into the bumper... So unless u rly look close, it still LOOKS dual.
