I witnessed it while in school in Cleveland, OH. A civic with cheap rims/tires and a stupid amount of camber had a blowout on the highyway. Lost control and spun/slid 2 lanes to the left before being stopped by the center divider

There are certain looks I dislike and do not understand their appeal. This is one of them. To each their own.

Normal tires were not designed to run on it's edge like that. It's unsafe and I bet they wear out a lot quicker too. I hope they don't hit anyone when their tires goes.

I saw a new Lexus IS (250? 350? I don't remember) had this funky style going on. Tried to take a pic but was kinda hard in traffic and trying to shift. Had Cali plates. Picture didn't come out good so I didn't post it .

The white one right? I see him all the time too, he works at that gross Chinese food place by the 7 eleven on alameda by us..

I think this all looks interesting, but affecting the car in such a bad way is not worth it, basically turning it Into a lemon...
I can't even stop from scraping sheet at stock height, don't know how a 'flushed' car would last more than a day, especially in co!

Bingo! It does look interesting, if the goal is to make people look, mission accomplished.

Not to mention that even if it wasn't unsafe, the car would still handle like total crap. Why buy a performance car and then take all the performance out of it?

But like others have said, to each their own. I did some dumb shit to my cars when I was younger (heating and compressing the springs on my '95 Escort to lower it) and I'm sure people who had been around the block a few times looked at my car and laughed, just like I do now. It's the circle of life, lol.

I'd like to see other angles of the car, personally. It's probably safe to say that it's something that I would never do, but I try to never form opinions about why or what people do to their own stuff. For all I know, I might question the rationale behind the build, but I might appreciate the look. It certainly isn't going to affect my mood though. Image

Debbie Downer. Who comes in and rains on a perfectly good hater parade:D

I love stanced cars, but I'm not into excessive camber to do it. I think stance should be relative to the car being done and not to the height off the ground. I think the movement is coming to that. Though there may be a slight difference between stanced and "hellaflush".

Those miatas are not doing it right at all. These guys actually have the wheels so they are tilted. The top is tucked into the wheel well and the bottom sticks out further then the car. Tires are really really stretched and you are basically riding on the side walls.

So poked around google. Hellaflush seems to have 2 different styles. To me the miatas are just hellaflush which looks good. Saw some other cars "doing it right. Then you have what I like to call the cartoon hellaflush slant which the speed in the first post has and this car.http://www.canibeat.com/2011/06/hellaflush_slammed_eg_florida/

If I see the Lexus again I'll take a pic. That is hella cartoon flush.
