My battery box doesn't fit, so Im going to relocate the battery to the spare tire compartment. I will be using a DEKA ETX20L with a braille mount like Dave and Eric.

I guess the Braille batteries are a rebadge DEKA batteries. The ETX20L is the same as a Braille B2015, the only difference is the CCA but I guess Braille hype the numbers up just so they can have a higher price tag.

looks great! I have a penchant for clean interiors.

Small batteries scare me a bit, but mostly because my car is a DD.

I wish I'd known they were rebadged DEKAs before I bought mine LOL.

If you have just the tire, yeah it would sag. But if you had the stock cardboard piece that covers the tire and flattens it out it would be fine. That's what the stock carpet rides on anyway. Looks good how it's turning out though!

Lol there is a huge price difference on them batteries.

The factory carpet also has a foam pads underneath.

hensley battery sells deka batteries. I have one in the rx and the truck.

Where is Hensley? Is that the one on Galley? I bought a DEKA from them a couple years ago for the Civic, I was really happy with it.

Doing a few thing to the FD. Just never ends lol.

I'm going to run a steel-braided hose all the way to the hanger eliminating the stock feed line. With the mind set to run e85 in the future. The ID is a little bigger than the stock line so it will flow better with dual pump.

Will also start customizing the hanger to accept dual pumps. Im going to use dual Stealth 340's.

Im also in the process of taking the Diff down to change the bushings. I took a look at them today and one of them is covered in oil meaning is blown. On the other one I saw cracks in the rubber so is time. I have a set of PowerFlex bushings already. I will also change the drive shaft seals and getting an rx8 ring and pinion with a t2 clutch diff while Im in there.

Received the IGN-1A coils with the harness! Harness is worth every dime, great quality work.

Also made a bracket for the coils.

Welded the bracket using Alumiweld. It is really strong and cheap. I'm really amazed how strong it bonded. Let see how it holds with vibrations.

So I landed a job with EXIDE Technologies on the industrial side of the house. It was weird because I was looking at their batteries and next day they called me for an interview, anyways. I was gonna go with the Deka battery but I can now use Employee discount with EXIDE.

Now this batteries are HEAVY about 46 lbs. They are AGM batteries 710 CCA I believe. 4 year replacement warranty no questions asked.

Is a lot heavier than I wanted but at least I know I have battery for a while lol.

Took the Diff out today to replace the mounts and repace the diff itself with a t2 diff. Not easy but got it done took me about a week lol.

I have those bushings in my diff too. I used them all the way around actually. I like them.
