The Escort MP-A. Surprisingly identical to the shottie that you just picked up. I'm pretty sure they are both even Turkish made...

I like choices and all, but would one of you experienced AR guys recommend a magpul magazine to me for a PSA lower I should have in hand next week?

I applied for the buy program for Coloradoans, but want to have my ducks in a row for when I get my email. Thinking of 3-5 30 rounders. That is a lot of ammo, then a couple 20 rounders and possibly a couple 10 rounders.

I've tried to call them directly, but they must be getting killed with orders.

I'd say get what you can from Magpul. Max out your order. Because you won't be able to get them after July 1st. Make sure you only order the 5.56x45 ones and not the 7.62x51 mags. The program only let you buy the STANDARD capacity 30 round mags. There are 3 options and you can order up to 5 of each.

+1
I'd get 5 of each via the Airlift program. If you really don't want to max it out, then the M3's are the latest and greatest, but really, they are all excellent.

I only bought 5 of the m3. I don't have enough paranoia yet to need 450 rounds loaded at a given moment. Would be fun though...except for my wallet. If it came down to it,I could switch over to my .40 for a little while:lol:

It's not so much of paranoia or having them loaded. I got them for incase of damage/lost. Because you wouldn't be able to replace them.

Yup. Ditto. I don't worry about keeping them loaded. It's just the fact that they are illegal to purchase come July 1st, and I want spares since AR mags are so cheap. It's also nice to be able to load them all up if you want, for shooting trips or camping. Less stuff you have to pack in/out.

Didn't consider they might get broken. I'll get by with 20 rounders if I need to in the future.

You won't be able to get 20 rounders in the future either. New law effective July 1st will BAN anything more that 15 and anything that is readily convertible... which can be taken in anyway they want. Anything with removable floor plate for easy cleaning can be ban also if they choose, even if it's under 15. That's basically over 95% of the mags out there. So, you can go with aluminum 10 rounders if you can find them. Even that might be ban too.
