Nah. AFAIK they don't make them anymore. I already ordered a Pineapple one last night lol.
I also had an idea on how to mount the water injection pump to the side of the frame in the engine bay. Right now I have it bolted to a plate and I have that plate bolted to the frame using just one bolt right now, and every time I think about that I shudder, but I don't think about it often because it's out of sight, out of mind haha. The guy I got the idea from welded a plate to the frame with screws sticking through, but why not just weld the screws themselves to the frame? It would be cleaner and not really any harder. However, I can't weld so I'll have to take it to Tom or someone.
I'm also looking way more seriously at pulling my dash soon and fixing my heat issue, and also installing AC again. The AC will be a while I think, just due to the work of modifying the ducting I already have, and also having to make new lines, figure out how to mount things, etc. But the heat I could do now if I just got motivated enough to pull the dash. Ugh.

Yeah I was lucky to find something that worked.
I got the idler pulley from Pineapple today, so I put that on tonight. I've been all over town all week looking for belts that would fit any setup, whether it's the way it's supposed to be or if it's belts for if something goes wrong like what happened Saturday. I did get everything installed the way it's supposed to be though, now I'm just trying to find a belt that will work if something goes wrong. I also swapped my old rotor alternator pulley on because the belt they sent fits better with it rather than the stock pulley since this one is a bit bigger. However, I've had problems with larger pulleys before with this higher amp alternator, so we'll see. If it's nice enough tomorrow I'm going to take the car to Beauchamp Racing so Tom can weld on the bolts for mounting the water injection pump, but they're calling for snow again tomorrow. Here is what she looks like right now...

I was supposed to take the car to Beauchamp Racing Saturday morning but due to the weather he told me to try Sunday. Sunday he didn't answer the phone so I called him today and I went down there at 4pm. He said the sheet metal on the car was too thin to weld the screws directly to it, so we decided on this bracket he welded up for me.




And he welded it on. He said it didn't look great but it's holding, and that's all that matters to me.



After it cooled down I reinstalled the pump and drove home. I know, this is a very eventful post LOL.
Actually on the way home I stopped to grab some food and this entrance to the parking lot is pretty steep so I went at as much of an angle as possible and went in the exit, just as the old man in front of me was turning left and I was pointing right at him. He put his hands up and had the look on his face much like the Jackie Chan picture, wondering what the hell I was doing. I thought about trying to explain it to him, but I felt like eating and getting some sleep tonight, rather than try to explain something for hours to someone who won't get it anyway.

I've been having an issue with my float sensor on the windshield washer tank for monitoring the level for water injection. The light comes on most of the time now even when there is plenty of fluid, but when I troubleshoot the switch it's just fine. I thought maybe the wire going to the light was grounding out on the firewall or something, but I checked with a multimeter and that's not it either. I'm pretty stumped.
While I've been messing with that, I decided to upgrade the fitting on the bottom of the tank because I had a simple 90 degree brass fitting tapped into the plastic and then RTV around it, but I started noticing more and more fluid residue. I got a through-wall fitting from Whisler Bearing but it was too big to fit through any of the holes on the tank. Luckily I planned ahead for that and I stopped at Ace Hardware and put together something that worked.
First I chopped the first fitting so the fluid could be at a lower level and still get into the hose...

And here it is inside, looking through the float sensor hole...

Here are the fittings apart and laying how they will go together, and with them tightened together temporarily to show what it will look like...


The outlet fitting tightened in permanently...

And mounted, what it looks like on the bottom...

I just used a rubber o-ring on the inside and a fiber washer on the outside (usually used for oil drain plugs) on the outside, and tightened the outside fitting right on the inside fitting, using the outer one as the nut also, mainly because there was no room for a nut and I would have had to make a nut for it anyway haha.
And this is from last week, when I saw Jason at the gas station on base...

Yeah I love doing little stuff like this. Unfortunately, you eventually run out of things to do lol. It's been fantastic! I absolutely love driving it. My next mods are to replace the exhaust with something quieter, Racing Beat dual tip most likely. Then plumb the wastegate dump tubes back into the downpipe. And while I'm deployed I'm going to get some Ohlins DFV coilovers for a smoother ride while still handling well. And at some point some racing seats so I can get on the track, and then heat and AC like I said before.
