I don't have that problem with people texting me while doing any of that. It's having people call my phone while I'm in the middle of that.

Yea that always happens when I'm really trying to focus on a tough part in a video game and my wife chooses that exact time to start texting me. That's when the phone goes on silent until I'm done.

My previous was referring when I'm doing those things on my phone and someone calls. I end up hitting end call because my fingers are still typing.

I completely hate it when my phone blows up when I'm gaming and I'm at a really intense part or in the middle of a great online match.

Dropping your phone in a parking lot and shattering the screen. Also having insurance but still having a $150 deductible to get it replaced. Better than having to pay full price for a new one I guess. Hope it's not a refurb. :\

I'd be willing to bet it's going to be a refurbished one if your phone insurance is through your cell phone provider. I do believe they all specify that you're device gets replaced with a refurbished one unless a refurbished one is not available in the fine print.

Already read the fine print and it said it may be one or may not. Did not say it will be one unless... But either way it's in perfect shape, not the slightest little scuff or scratch on it.

As for replacing it myself, no thanks. I don't have a clean-room and if I happened to get one tiny little cat hair or piece of dust under the screen while I was replacing it it would drive me insane. Not to mention it's very tedious to remove the broken glass from what I've been reading. So yea I'd rather just pay the deductible and know that it's not going to have some rogue smudge under the screen that I can't get rid of and that it will be sealed like it's supposed to be against slight moisture and dust.

Plus I'm not sure if the warranty would have covered it if I tampered with it and tried to fix it myself and then something went wrong with it after that. So I'll just pay the deductible and have a brand new phone (like I said, if it's a refurb they did an awesome job on it because it's perfect) and a new 1-year warranty on it.

It's a Galaxy S3. I will never own an iPhone. I do love my iPad though.

I used to say that too. (Granted, I still don't have one- but I want one.) They're just so much better in every aspect. I'm no techy, but they just seem to do with ease, what androids have to work to accomplish.
