Swapped the 949 endlinks on today. Both OEM rears had significant bushing wear/rot. I new the left rear was wasted and that it was most likely the source of a clunk I had back there. The fronts weren't bad, still solid. So now I have adjustable endlinks...wee! (No I did not adjust them with me sitting in the car. Gumby, I am not.)

Unadjusted:

Old ones. Can't really tell, but about 50% of the rubber bushing is gone.

Rear installed. I didn't take a pic of the front because, well, it looks pretty much like this, too.

Looks good. Now you have a go cart that handles, just need to address the breaks.

Pictures to come tomorrow. Installed the 949 wheels from Ron tonight. The wheels make such a tremendous difference. The nickel finish looks less chrome in person than it does in pictures. And man are they light! The wheels are 15x8 with some scrubbed in Hankook Ventus RS3s, 225/45. Looking forward to going for a quick spin tomorrow.

Also installed a Momo Mod 08 wheel with a Daikei hub. The hub is fully plug and play, no airbag light, no cutting/splicing/resistors needed. Just plug in the harness and good to go. The wheel is nice and matches the Momo Anatomico knob (not thrilled with the knob and might switch out). I added the Mazda OEM radio blanking plate and cubby that fill in the hole nicely where the stereo used to be.

Next up will be some Willwoods, some time in January. I'll be going with the full 4 wheel kit, which replaces all 4 corners completely.

Some bad morning sun pics:

The wood behind the wheels is from my son helping. He didn't want the car to roll away. Ha! (Same with the traffic cones, is was to keep people away from the dangerous area, whatever that means.)

Momo wheel. The knob isn't on there tight, and the vents are obviously out while I put in the radio plates.

They were mine but not any more. I think those rims are the best looking rims for a Miata. They make it look mean and totally changes the attitude of the car. Looks great!!!!

With the new suspension and good tires, how does it handle? Can you tell a big difference?

Yes they were! Picked them up yesterday afternoon and was too excited to wait to put them on.

I haven't had a chance to test the wheels/tires yet. Tomorrow. The suspension, I've already noticed a huge difference. I'm sure the wheels/tires will be the icing on the cake. Thanks again!!!

Took it for a spin. I need to recenter my steering wheel, which isn't a big deal. In the lower temps, I've easily been able to get a 4 wheel slide out of the old Ziex 912 (185s) set up. This set up...does not. Looking forward to getting a little longer drive on them.

One of my favorite pics of my Miata is it parked next to a Chevy Avalanche. It looks like a rollerskate next to the big truck.
