When people that sell their cars and say "Adult Owned". 1) Most people that can own and can sell a car are adults so adult owned tells me nothing, 2) I can point to many adults that treat their cars like crap, so adult own doesn't mean a car is well maintained either.

My neighbor and I talking:

Me, "Your brakes sound like the pads are done"
Neighbor, "They're bad, I need to get them done"
Me, "You should get them done because that isn't very safe"
They then drive on them for another 4 months till basically there is no rotor left pulling a trailer.

True story. They are always coming over asking me what's wrong with their cars. If there weren't good neighbors I would probably say, "you are what's wrong with your car."

nah they're just lazy or stupid, one was CU Boulder who definitely had the money and took 5 ####ing months to pay a measly little invoice, the other one definitely has the money, but has an incompetent 'accountant'
