I couldn't remember but did you get SS hoses with that setup?

Yep, SS hoses all around. No leaks at the caliper or at the hardline connections. The brakes were mushy before, I figured I didn't do a good job bleeding the first time around when I did pads/rotors. This time, I know I had no bubbles in the lines. I made sure to hit both top bleed screws on the fronts.

Brake job, part 2. I'll hopefully be done sometime tomorrow, as I'm not in too much of a hurry. Got it up on stands today, but have some plans for later. I'll probably get everything wrapped up tomorrow.

Hmm, I guess I'll need assistance on the brakes. I had my wife help me bleed and no difference. Change the master, bench bled, now it's worse. I guess my level of brake knowledge is replacing pads and rotors. Odd, I've changed lines on the MG, the RX8, and didn't have this much difficulty bleeding and getting the brakes back to normal. To take it to a shop at this point, I'd have to tow it, as the parking brake is the only brake that feels solid.

Thats's the current plan. I'll do another flush/bleed tomorrow and go from there. I know it's air and not leaks.

Success. My wife got another leg work out pumping the brakes. I had significant air in the RR, and then I had to restart when I sucked the MC dry. Argh. Quick alley test drive shows a significant difference and I'll take it for a test drive in a little bit to see how they are at speed. Definitely a solid pedal now. Wee.
Also, my MityVac is broken. I thought I had spilled brake fluid on the handle, then noticed it just pouring out of the handle and it wouldn't hold vacuum.

Test drive successful as well. Have to add that my passenger side rear clunk was a loose battery.

Car battery. It was secure enough to not flop around, but not tight enough that it didn't have some movement.
I did bed them. Some hard stops from 40 and 60mph. Nice solid pedal, good bite, stops quickly.

Thanks. I also got my son involved. I let him tighten the lugs while the car was still in the air. He really got a kick out of using the ratchet.

Nice job, sir. I chickened out when my master cylinder was leaking and needed replaced. I took it in to have that done. I have replaced calipers and done just about everything else brake related but that one worried me a bit.
