WOW.. that is seriously all you guys did?? Not much of a cruz eh... well then I guess I will make a perposal to you all for a spring time CRUISE and not just a meet in a parking lot then heading home.. I think we should all take wee lil drive.. nothing to much. its only around 200miles or so... heres my thoughts.

We all meet up some where kinda central.. Im thinking like Monument cause that will bring up the Colosprgs guys and not to bad for the Denver guys either.. We all meet say around 8am wait for others to show and leave no later than 9am. We head south and then into the mountains.. The trip that I am thinking is that we head up Hwy 24, and take the nice long road up to Breckenridge where we can all stop, have lunch a few drinks, and BS for a while.. Then on the way home, we take I-70 back home and once we get to Morrison or the I-70/C-470 interchange we can all part ways there.. How does that sound like for a day of fun of actually getting out and driving for a bit and seeing the beautiful Colorado Rockies!! Heres a map of what the route would take us..

Map of route.

Depending on how long we do lunch,, ( I'd figure atleast an 1 1/2 to 2hrs for lunch and resting) the whole trip from start to finish would be about 6-7 hrs or so. If any of you would like to maybe think about doing this, then lets start getting a sign up list and figuring out what date would work the best for everyone. Im thinking as long as the weather holds, maybe try this in late March or April.[/b]

Our intent of going down to Garden of the Gods was to Meet the Colorado Springs people, not cruise all over the place. Weather wasn't the greatest either, was off and on warm and cold and gravel everywhere. Next time show up for an actual Meet yourself to see what it was like. I can speak for most of us and say that it was a very good time. :D We'll have plenty of time this Spring/Summer to organize more Meet/Cruises.

what 8 hour cruz?[/b]

Meet with the 350Z club, then a wandering to Bishop's Castle and elsewhere. I had to bail after driving down to Fountain. I know folks had fun, just a little longer than they expected. I'm sure once good weather hits, there will be some actual cruises. Tougher during the winter.

What bad weather? It was great that day, atleast earlier it was... I know cause I was outside in it doing my job and which is why I couldnt make it. Saturdays is just the ONE day out of the week that I really cant get off unless its well planned in advance. Im not saying that what you guys did was lame, but rather just maybe have done a lil more than meet in one place and stay there the whole time. And yes we have plenty of time to plan for meets/cruises but why not start planning for the them now? If something gets planned and in the works, specially a long cruise like this one, then more things could get planned for the cruise... So thats why Im already shooting this idea out to you guys way ahead of time..

Ya, it was chilly that day, but the weather itself wasnt all to bad for being winter time.. The first pic of pikes peak that is on this post is a killer pic.. I thought that day was a perfect day to do the photo shoot that you guys did.. and yes,, sundays work better for me... but the majority of the group it works better on saturdays,, So I'll just have to work around that,,, I mean shit, I could do saturdays if all the events were planned a lil later in the day. Thats why at first I said I would meet up with you guys later in the day, but I ended up needing to work and couldnt afford to take the time off. So ya, if things were later in the day I could probably make it. Just like this saturday for the bowling meet.. I'd love to go and would be able to if it were at say 4:30 lol like what was planned for sunday, but seeing that its on Saturday I understand why it has to be so early at 1:00 cause its a busy day for the bowling ally..
