Be Aware...

Meet and Event Information

There is nothing like the atmosphere you find at a car show or a local meet. But there is one thing you may want to be aware of.

This is mainly for those with modded cars...

Thieves can be found lurking around at meets and car shows, staking out cars and their modded parts. You may find yourself being followed home from these shows or because you were spotted on the roads....why were you spotted? Decals, exterior mods etc can set you apart from the rest. Driving around in a modded car does set you apart from the rest...that is why we mod our cars...hell, that's the reason I mod mine...but be aware of who is behind you...is someone following you home?

On my way home today, I was followed by a black VW all the way from Santa Fe/Evans to my home in Highlands Ranch. I didn't pull into my driveway...I drove past it and circled round...the driver of the VW (a women) then took a photo of my car once I passed her. I drove off in another direction...

She might have been taking a photo of something else...but why risk it...keep driving...

Great point. I always drive around if it seems someone is following me. I'll make some random turn here or there before my house to makes sure and if they follow I drive past my house and go somewhere else till they stop or I lose them.
