OK, so the local Jeep dealer is offering a HELLA good deal on a Wrangler or a Wrangler Unlimited. And I'm actually...gasp...EXCITED about it.

I really don't want an SUV as my DD, but MAN -- I have always wanted a Wrangler. I currently pay $480 a month on the 6. With the negative equity and the down-payment I could make in march or April, I could drive a Wrangler for $380 a month on a 3-year lease. Then, in 3 years, having had my off-roading fun, I could get into whatever sports/sporty car I wanted with NO negative equity to worry about.

Ugh.

But I was REALLY looking forward to an MS3....

HEEELLLLPPPP!!!!!

I once hear about a guy who bought a jeep and then his genitals fell off.
Now, I am not saying this will happen to you,
but do you really want to take that risk?

We mustn’t let Lee see this! :6a434460: I would say MS3 over a Jeep. I love both but am very pleased with my ms3.

I want one wrangler too. But I can't part from the Mazda until the day I die. Find a used one if you can and have it for your off-road/winter car? Or do what your heart tells you to.

LOL! Well, if I went SUV, I'd have to get a used Miata or 7 as a "fun" car. :)

LOL!! OK, OK. I'm over it. The dealer e-mailed me and didn't seem too thrilled with the negative equity in my car, anyway. :)

Dont do it.... I did the same thing, got into an SUV and wanted to get rid of all my negative.. its a great way to get out of that..I thought I was ready for a SUV (dont get me wrong, the CX7 is GREAT) But I'm 24 with an SUV... blah.. I want my car back, went to go trade it in for a regular 3 hatch.. with my negative I would have to put like 4k down, or I could wait a year until January and not have any negative and possibly get a MS3... hmmmm.. think I will just stick it out another year and get what I REALLY want.
