Fiber Glass Hoods

Ok ive been lookin all over the place for a Fiber Glass Aftermarket hood. All i can find for the RX-8 is either stock or Carbon Fiber. I dont want to go CF because i hate the look of a black hood on an off color car (CF hood/ Red car). Anybody got any ideas?

The only thing is Carbon Fiber. You looking for scoops or no scoops. IMO the KS-II from seibon is the nicest for the 8. Or the stock CF.

The easiest best thing IMO to do is buy the CF and get it painted. That's what I'ma gonna do.

Im looking at the V-speed from VIS. If i can i want to Vinyl so it'll be a little lighter than paint.

What is an extra pound going to matter? And if you're getting rid of the stock hood to lose weight you're wasting money cuz the current one weighs next to nothing

I agree. Any hood mod will be for looks, as the stocker is very light.
