I talked my girl into going also. I used the Estes Park lunch thing and also said that if we don't go I'll just sleep in and watch the NCAA Tournament on the Plasma... which still sounds good. :D

Nice. I don't know about you, but ever since we got our Plasma I refuse to watch any channel that's not HD. 720i is even pushing it, I try for just the 1080i channels. ;-) I am please we got Direct TV out here, many, many more HD channels than Comcast etc.

My wife doesnt seem too hip with the "cruise" idea... basically because we have nobody to watch the kiddos, and she knows how we can sometimes get a little crazy.. Can we get some more solid info on the time, and meeting place? the more info for her, the better she is, ya know..

If all else fails, I may have to piss her off and go solo

I'm working on the wife. She keeps saying that is a lot of gas we don't need to use. Her Mom lives is Golden so I am tryong to get her to agree to stop by on the way back. 5 hours of driving for lunch is hard to convince.

5 hours? Total I guess, but come on man! We live in the most beautiful state, with some of the best roads for driving. Zoom, Zoom M'F'er! Zoom, F'n Zoom! ;-) Keep trying, my wife will go if other females are going too.

I was thinking....

Meet at The Flat Irons Mall Saturday at 9:00, depart at 9:30, drive to Estes, arrive around noon (after stopping a few times for pics' etc). Eat lunch, walk around the indoor/outdoor shopping place they have. Leave whenever everyone wants to, say 2:00-3:00ish?. Bring the kids? It's hard to drive too fast seeing it's twistie, other cars etc. We'll all be good ;-)
