Hi Everyone!

I thought that it would be fun if we could all meet up at the renaissance festival this year. See the link for more info. Hope to see some of you there! Its a fun family atmosphere. Let me know if anyone has suggestions as to when we could go.

It's a lot of fun, they have all manner of foods on sticks, knife and axe throwing booths, jousting. All kinds of fun stuff. If we go I might even dress up ;)

I dress up! That and halloween, (which I always have to work) is the only time that I get to dress up. Its fun because a lot of people dress up and bring swords, fairy wings, wench costumes so on and so forth. The joust is fun too because there is a whole parade of kings, queens, and bag pipe players. I love the food, steak on a stake, steamed artichokes which are amazing. Lots of desserts, and its all reasonably priced which is awesome too. The only suggestion I have is that it gets really hot, so wear sunscreen and keep hydrated. :delicious:

Perhaps we should look into group rates?

Yeah, but the group discount starts at 50 people, do we really have that many? It would be worth looking into though.

Well I will definetely keep en eye out for that DD. Probably won't be me though. he he he. Its looking like Sun is going to be the best day so far and that is fine with me. We will just have to see how many want to go, and what the poll numbers say.
