GIAC x+ ecu flash.
evolution motorsports diverter valve
samco t.i.p.
k&n panal filter
tightened waste gate.[/b]

Nice, The "X" update was/is a huge improvement over earlier versions.

Let me know when you want it flashed by ASP, you won’t mind saying goodbye to GIAC ;-)

giac has tuning for altitude, big turbos and e85 (and tiptronic tuning as well) . so to stray from those possibilities.. would be hard

but if i have anyone looking for an alternative to revo, giac, and others I'll point them your way. ;-)

oh and its a Canon Rebel.

Not to be a d*ck, but APR, MTM, REVO, & ASP all have flashes for everything mentioned (actually ASP will custom tune your file to what you want at no extra charge, and you can have it changed as many times as you want in the future). As a matter of fact ASP offers switching via the cruise stalk. For 85, 91, 93, 94, 104, and e85. On top of that they utilize motronic for k03's, k04's, k04/rs6, gt25, 28, 30, and 35 ;-) Best part is it's hundreds less than GIAC.

Word to the wise, avoid the TCU chip. There's a reason GIAC has pulled their name from it, it is sold be vendors only now, under each venders name respectively ;-)

well there are some gay drivers that own all types of cars. i however, i love clams. no sword fighting here.[/b]

Miatas anyone? Probably the most ubiqitous "gay-guy" car if there ever was one.

Nice V-dub though. I've always liked that factory body kit on that chassis. You went to some pretty extreme lengths to get rid of those door rub strips. I just peeled mine off. If I had to do anymore, they'd still be on there.

Nice color too!

And I'm sporting the triptronic auto too. Mine was a result of the car originally being intended for my wife who wanted an automatic. Plans changed. The car is still fun to drive regardless.

Jeff Moss from http://www.Torque-factory.com came out and fined tuned this whip also. (He also works with stasis tuning and also works for GIAC themselves) there is a GIAC tuned 1.8T with ko4 on E85 pushing 265hp and over 300ft-lbs right here in Colorado.
APR does not yet have an altitude adjusted flash. APR at altitude will produce turbo surge and if you use APR and go K04, you will drop the car into limp mode because they have not yet unlocked the boost control. A bypass is using a diode inline to the ECU does not see more than in spec.
Since Revo is just a cheap knock off and actually “stolen code” from APR; well, same results.
Dahlback is starting to get some good petrol based flashing going on, but their diesel line up in second to none!
Unitronic is the newest entry into the ecu flash. I have heard many great things about them, but do not personally know anyone that has it in Colorado yet.

Thanks, the body work was a result in me not liking the chrome. I mean it’s not an Escalade. However, if the rub strips just peeled off, everyone would have it done; and well, mine’s special now. :-) I still have some little body work still left to do, but on hold until I get some more “go fast” parts in her.
Blue lagoon, a rare VW color. They only sprayed it on the GLI in 04 and 05 and some mildly styled jettas in 99 and 00.
Nothing wrong with tiptronic, I mean the gearing is a lil off, but full boost from start to finish. No loss of boost between shifts.

Jeff Moss is a great guy. He has also worked with AWE (among many other tuners) back in PA. He is the brain behind GIAC, and fixed the majority of the cold start, and fuel cut issues they used to have for VAG applications. ;-)

As for APR, they do have a flash for high altitude applications with K04's, but not the 1.8t or the 2.0t yet. My S4 once at Stage 3 (twin K04's) had APR software and fueling first. A few years later I had ASP create a custom file for me (and their Siemans fueling), never looked back ;-) Glad to hear you feel the same about REVO, many people have no idea about how F'd up their "R&D" actually is.

Dahlback is a great company also, but uber expensive. IIRC they're up in NH?

I'm still waiting for someone to get the Unichip for the MS6, I really am curious.
