I just don't dig the fact that how much gas I purchase these days is governed by how many gallons I can afford as opposed to how much money I want to put in. It used to be, oh I'm just gonna put $10 in - which has now turned into $15-$20. *sigh* I miss the days of the less than $15 fill up. :\

What are the gas prices out there? In the Baltimore area they're around $2.65/gallon for 87. Just glad my P5 doesn't require high test....

The other night when I filled up it was $2.95 for 91, I usually don't pay attention to what the other grades are, because both of our cars only take 91.

Hmm... we have 87, 89, 93 out here IIRC, so I'm guessing 91 generally is the highest octane you guys have out there? If that's the case then it sounds about right - as long as it isn't $3+, that would be majorly disappointing. And yeah, I rarely pay attn to the others either, lol.

Yeah there are a few places out here that sell higher then that, but for the most part 91 is the highest. The 3 major ones we have are 85 87 and 91.

This time last year I was paying $3.40 a gallon for my Mazda3, I'm happy with what they are now.

Dagnabit! Yeah the prices have come down here a bit. I haven't driven to work for over a year now so I haven't really been paying too much attn to gas prices. And yeah, $3.40 - ouch! We'll see how it is when I get there but it's good to know in the meantime where it stands by comparison. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]
