If your even thinking about going to the RenFest,, then you better plan on staying pretty much the whole day... The whole real point of going there is to see all the shows, and they have them set up to run and certain times throughout the day.. Like the big show, the Joust, they do that I think a total of 4 or 5 times in the day and the final show is the big one where the winner is crowned and shit.. Its fun to see, specially for your first time going.. I used to go EVERY FREAKING YEAR for like 6 yrs straight.. I havent been for the last two years and Im not planning on going this year either, cause frankly,, its the same shit every year.. Only kool thing for me to go there now would be to buy some of the cool art work or other hand made items that are sold all over the place there.. Oh and to get a Steak on a Stake... :delicious:

But ya, dont plan on trying to do both the Renfest and the car show, cause you probably wouldnt make both..

No that helps a lot! I would much rather try something I have never done/seen before. I can go to car shows any other time :D

Gonna be at the Great Sand Dunes that weekend, otherwise I'd be at this. Hope everyone has fun.

ok cool,, you'll have fun!! Just make sure you bring lots of water in a backpack cause it gets damn hot there!! Last time I was there I was drinking,, :1c05b768: and it was over 100f and that was a bad combo.. I ended up in the ER later that night with serve dehydration and slight heat stroke.. it was nasty.. You are allowed to bring in plastic water bottles so I suggest that you do.. Have fun!!!

Renfest is fun, but I honestly think a small group is more fun. There is no way to keep track of everyone. Anyway, enjoy the festival! If you see the booth that does the Ostrich egg painting, tell Mel that Josh says hi! ;)

So is anyone meeting at the BK, or we all meeting up at Chillis? I am assuming it's the Chilis in Castle rock right off i25? I would be up for carpooling down there, either driving or riding if anyone is interested let me know.

the chilli's is on i25 and lincoln on the west side of the highway. I guess it depends on where ur at or willing to meet for the carpool. I live up north (i25 and 120th) so if its not too far outa the way i'd be willing to carpool. I only have a 3i, so depending on how much fun ur lookin to have while driving, ur car would be better lol, but it doesn't matter to me, i'd be willing to drive as well.

Well I live by i25 and Colorado, and I am not sure where that Chilis is you are talking about. If you wanted to meet at the park and ride at i25 and Colorado that would be a good spot, open to anyone else who might be interested as well. I would say meet there by 8:30 at the latest. I am up for driving for sure :)
