For those of you that didnt make it to the meet tonight it was pretty interesting. We had a good turnout. After Drifter saw some chicks that were so ugly they'd turn Charles Bronson into a flamer worse than Richard Simmons drivin around in a rainbow Miata we cruised down to the Fan Fest for the PPHC. Met up with Miata Chris and met Bob Penkhus himself. He's offered to sponsor a lunch for us as a club, one day where we can bring all the cars down and show them off.

Now the question is when and what time? Some of us were deff. thinking it'd have to be a Saturday for max turnout. Whats everybody elses input?

RX7 Chris has most of the details. Im sure he'll fill in for whatever i missed

The Penkhuses are cool. Rob Penkhus called me several times, trying to fix what was wrong with the CX-9 deal, but his lower managers never followed up. Looks like he may have fixed that, though, based on what I saw at Powers.

Hey, would this be at the Bob Penkhus store? If so, I'd go for the Powers one. A LOT more room there than at Motor City. Any weekend would be good for me, and I might actually be able to make one of these. But I won't hold my breath.

From what I understood, the lunch meet will be at motor city because that is the store Bob runs. His son Rob runs the powers store.

It could, but theres one problem.. we really wouldnt be able to advertise for it cause we are hosting the Birthday Bash at another Dealer and I highly doubt Penkhus would want us or allow us to do that..

Yeah I didn't mean that we would put a big sign up. But we could always tell people about it in a friendly conversation about the club. :6820a4ad:
