Unless you actually knew what happened Josh and were there, you shouldn't be telling me to chill.
Because you have no idea beforehand what was said when DJ put his foot in his mouth. And technically I didn't invite them. Dave (Sentra) also knew them and they wanted to tag along. I didn't really care if they went or not. One of them was my friend but I'm not their keeper or responsible for the shit they do. And they were dealt with at the top of Lookout Mountain by Dave and myself.
Jack chill its okay
Can't blame DJ for saying something bout the neons not knowing. no one knew except me I think, that you invited them and even at the gas station i told you about the copper one cutting me off WHILE turning. Gotta be able to take shit for people that are invited. Not saying you can't, you know me. Not saying it was said 'best' by DJ. Not covering for any side just saying htey caused issues and were dealt with which is good but can't get mad cuz someone posts something bout them when they were doing stuff.....
anyways... I didn't make my post cuz the neons I made it becuase i felt it needed to be said.[/b]

I think some of the mentioned issues were correctly addressed, but at the same time I think there are others that have been overlooked. As far as too many people, I personally enjoy having both a lot of people (say the BBQ) and a small number (wednesday night runs).
One thing I have noticed recently, is that the club as a whole isn't as unified or family like when I first started. It seems now like Trish said there are more cliches that as a whole make up the CMZC and not just one unit. In my opinion I think this is going to happen with any group, but at the same time we are all adults here (I would sure hope to god we are) and should be able to keep all this to a minimum by acting are god-damn age. Which I think means most likely if there are problems take care of it with the individuals instead of posting it on a public forum for all to read, this is probably where the separation is happening in that people are making decisions on who to befriend and hang out with based on what they see on here, which is bullshit.
Another thing, radio etiquette!!! I work with similar radios on a nightly basis in a noisy ass club none the less and we have no problems communicating because we all know how and when to use them! I from now on, to be honest, don't really want a radio because of all the unnecessary bullshit that goes on back and forth which in turn doesn't allow the important calls (like Nick having to stop) to be made. This, in my opinion, HAS to be addressed for any future meets. The radios should be used ONLY when necessary information needs to be conveyed between the group, especially when we are first starting and haven't even gotten to a distinct road that would be hard to loose anyone with out going just forward on the road.
This is just my two cents into what I've seen happening with the club and runs that we make. I would still welcome any mazda enthusiast or not to join the club, but on the stipulation that respect the club as a family in any location whether it be on here or at a meet and that they have fun while doing it.
If anyone has any issues with this, email me and lets keep it between us unless it can't get resolved then we can get others involved (and it keeps the thread cleaner!!!)

Very very good post Talbot.
I personally don't see the niche's maybe because I 'try' to go to everyone and talk to people its harder sometimes than others but I dunno I don't see it... Sorry if I'm in one and don't know it... that's not me being sarcastic either.

I do my best to make sure I get around and talk to everyone. Sometimes my shyness gets the best of me when I see someone new that I don't know. I personally haven't notice any "cliques" either. I have been doing my hardest to participate more often, especially now that I can.
Shouldn't this be in another thread? I hate jacking....
We should analyze our "Cruze Edicates" and make sure everyone is accounted for at all times. My only drama was with a non-member who didn't want to play nice. I apologize to anyone I may have offended.
Mods should delete some of this uneccesary stuff....

I think we need to put this behind us now. Lesson's learned and lets move on. I love this club, and all its members who make it so cool. Time to continue on being a big family. And i don't think we need to clean anything up, we are all adults and if we can't look past petty stuff like this then i just don't know what to say. Maybe its because i'm so damn passive, but man lets keep going.
Until next time guys and gals!

On the lighter side of things, I have a funny thing to share with you guys. Remember that Eclipse with the mad paint job? I actually ran into him on my way home from our cruise. No, not literally. I was sitting at a light on Hampden, and he rolled right up next to me. Ugh...I remember him...*sigh* Light turned green, I go as always, he pulls out with a squeel. Oooohhhhh....we come up to the next stop. I just glanced over at him, he was looking back at me, gave me a light nod with his two million dollar smile, then revved up his engine. HAHA! No... Light turned green, he launched. I didn't. No way was I going to accept his challenge! LMAO! He slowed down waiting for me to catch up since I was merely doing the speed limit of 35 and I know better than to go faster than that through Englewood. Stopped again, side by side. Same nod, same two million dollar smile, same rev, same launch. I rolled my eyes, "Go pick on someone else your own size." LOL I just thought it was funny.
It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it.

Nice Angie!! its fun (at least to me) screwing with ppl like that, kinda ruins their ego almost.
As far as niches go, Josh, Andrew, we can talk about this later. Leave it at that.
Anyways, looking forward to next sunday with new rims and especially new tires!!! I have tried all day and have yet to get them to break loose or even squeal

You don't mean that so why say it?? There are plenty of us in the club that do enjoy your company so don't take it so personal. If someone or even some people don't get along with you, it doesn't mean that you are a bad person. Some people just don't mesh, and that's okay. No one is perfect, and trust me that's hard for me to admit because I struggle with the same issues, we all do. Be in the club for you, not for the other people. That's rediculous to be in it for any other reason to start with. If you can't let certain things go, then you need to do some thinking, and come to some conclusions about yourself and where you want to be in your life. No one else can make those decisions for you. I do hope to see you around still, we all bring something unique to the club and that's what makes it fun. Diversity is the key to something special. Best Regards...
i don't do meets as I am too shy...i don't do cruizes as I can't drive...so why the heck am I in this club?[/b]
