Denver Weekly Winter Meets

Postby MazdaGurl » Mon Oct 13, 2008 9:14

Since the cold days have arrived, Sonic will be pretty much no fun. Last night, some of us met at Dave & Busters and had a pretty helluva good time. However...since D&B can be a little expensive, I was thinking we could meet at Old Chicago off Union or Colorado Blvd - whichever is better for everyone.

So here's a poll - pick what you want, and majority picks!

How is the parking at the downtown Old C's? I wouldn't mind going there or the one off Union (since that is where everyone is used to going on Sunday nights). I like Dave and Busters, but definitely out of my student-with-no-job price range :)

parking SUCKS at Old C's in downtown. It's cramped, and you have to pay for it...which is why I've stayed away from there for any suggestions of our meets.

Now...there is a mexican restaurant right by Ocean Journey...

I think you souldn't do any denver meets because only Springs people are cool enough for that, lol

Old C's worked well for us although friday night is packed. I would guess sunday would not be too bad though.

I think we should choose somewhere where we can all park together at least. Old C's downtown would be impossible.

Old c on Colorado has a good parking lot in the back. Its also cheaper for those that are on a limited income.

What about the Old C's on Union in Lakewood? I say this because it is a mile away from where we usually meet (Sonic), so its not like we are changing a whole lot.

Yeah, if you call lots of screaming kids, and games made for lots of screaming kids, "interesting" :) But their pizza is pretty good...

I like the Old C on Colorado, but that might just be because it's 2 blocks from my place. I could even walk there, but walking to a car club event sounds kind of weird. There is also a Perkins down the street so we could keep that going for those of us who enjoy that kind of thing.
