Guaging interest: Wild Lights or Parade of Lights

I thought it'd be fun for a group of us to get together and see one of these events. Parade of Lights is happening Friday, December 5th at 8:00 p.m. & Saturday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m. Afterwards we could go to a bar or lounge and hang out for a bit. (It's downtown Denver for those who don't know.

The other option is Wild Lights at the Denver Zoo which allows much more flexible planning.

I'll be at the office to watch the Parade from the balcony on Saturday. I'm game for meeting up for a beer afterward, though.

I might be up for something like that. I would hope the weather would be clear enough to drive the 7 up to D. I will see if I can get some interest from our Springs people.

Did anyone make it down? I went on Saturday evening with niece/nephew for a children's work party. It was fun, although there were a few long delays during the parade itself (10-15 minutes of nothing).
