CMZC and EECMM: 2009/2010?

So some of you 3forum members may know about the Epic East Coast Mazda Meet (EECMM) that happens once a year. This years EECMM is scheduled for June 12-14th 2009. It will be taking place at the Dragons Tail on the TN/NC boarder. 2007 saw 40+ cars, mostly mazdas, and 2008 saw 50+ cars, again mostly mazdas. This year they are expecting near 100 or more cars.

So am i crazy? Maybe. But i was curious if anyone has any possible serious interest in making either the 2009 or 2010 event? Sounds like some good fun over a few days, i have heard the last two were a blast, and i bet the drive there would be fun... maybe. lol.

I would LOVE to go run the Dragon in the FD, but I think I'm a little too worried about it making the trip out there and back, not to mention how much it'd cost, and the difficulty of getting that much time off work. Then again, I did make the drive from here to there in it since I bought it in NC...

anyways,, over on the Mazda6club site ,, they are also planning a large group meet to next year in KS.. I havent read throught the post at all so I have no clue if its just mazda6's or Mazdas in general.. but if its all cars then that could be something to think about to cause it is closer than TN..

If I were to road trip back east, I'd road trip back to NY to visit the fam. I say we get our own mountain cruise going and see how many peeps we can get here.

This would be awesome, but IMO if you have more than 10 or so cars in a group it becomes a burden. People get stuck in traffic or left behind...and since everyone likes to drive differently, some people get frustrated and start to tail too closely or pass illegally, etc. Did a cruise with about 30 cars back in October, it wasn't much fun because of that very reason. I suggested breaking cars up into groups, and then the groups can be further broken down into who likes to drive faster or slower. But that's too much work for most people...

Okay guys I know most of us are sick of Corbs and his tales of destruction 99.9% of which he cause himself.

I don't want this to be a flame war on Corbs we all for the majority hate him and the annoyance he brings to these boards. Personally I feel he's bringing down the 3 forums with his crap. It's like little kids are running around with no supervision.

Lets just get a tally of how many people want him gone for good and never want to see his crap again.

If you vote no please explain why. Do you really want to hear how he drinks and drives? How he hits things with his car cause his mommy bought a car he didn't want? How his car magically got set on fire by a ghost? I don't.
