I was poking around on the net and came across this little gem today(slow day at work). It packs quite the punch for something so simple to install. The price is not bad either, was about to drop $200 on a new boost gauge but may go this route instead.
I like that you just use the OBD2 connector, clean no fuss install. Just get a vent pod mount and looks stock.....they have it available for the MS6
Anyway here is the info for whom ever may want to read more about it.

Here is a youtube video in the MS6.....pretty cool.

I have heard good things about this thing, but it has one downfall. If you get the CPE standback ten this thing becomes useless. The standback adjusts what the computer thinks it is seeing so you will see on the gauge whatever the standback is telling the computer, not what is actually going on.
Nice piece though.

Did not think about that, thanks for the heads up. That means the dashhawk also becomes useless. Huh........
I don't think funds will be available for that option for awhile.
It says you can hook up two analog sensors outside of the OBD2 port so I guess you could buy two sensor kits and just have those shown on the output screen and at least those would be correct. Say boost/Air fuel reading.
Still think $30 more would warrant the purchase seeing as I plan to do the CP-e EM.

Neither would do the same as the Cp-e Standback(fully adjustable parameters), both are just tools to understanding what our cars are actually doing. They let use see what the cpu sees all the time.

mazdaman-G- wrote:So is the manifold pressure (vacuum/boost) reading from the CPU the same information that you would get by tapping into a vacuum line? (ie a traditional boost gauge setup) On a factory CPU with no engine management products.
As far as I know yes. The car has a sensor that it gets it readings from. I would think that it would be more accurate considering it is built right in.
I am thinking about getting this next week, just bought a TMIC this week(funds have been tight lately). That is not easy to hide from the wife......hehe

fyi, the only reading that is skewed on the Dashhawk OR the Aeroforce with the Standback is boost/vacuum. Everything else is "in spec". I wouldnt say super accurate, but it will get the job done. Dont dismiss the Standback or the Dashhawk, they are both invaluable tools, and they work well together, besides the Boost/vacuum readings.

Thanks Eric,
I will be ordering the Aeroforce now that I know it won't be useless after the Standback. Thanks for your input, have not seen many post by you lately.

Eric, good to know. I thought that any signal altered by the standback became bogus if read through the OBDII port.
Thanks for the update.
