I need to get mine rebuilt some time soon too. I've been puting it off because it still works. The OMP mod is the next thing on my list.

So my car did great on the drive over to Grand Junction and the whole time I was there. The drive back was not so good. I had a rear outer barring go in glenwood cannon. I was able to limp it to a rest stop. My brother was able to pick us up with my parents pickup and a friends trailer and drive us back here. We spent all day yesterday swapping out the rear end and I have a few things to do today after work.
We pulled the new rear apart so we could inspect it. All the barrings look good and the limited slip also looks good. We did find one of the cast retainers (no idea what it is called) that hold the whole limited slip etc. broke on the new old rear. Anyone have any idea how this could happen? I've never seen one of these break before. The one on my old rear bolted right in.

All seems to be going well with the car. No noise from the rear woohoo.
I have some new plugs to put in it but that is about all right now.

Still never bought the OMP part.
Now I have to replace my Driver's side because it broke on me last Friday.

That is what I'm talking about. I hear they are great. Goldrocket has one that he needs to install.

Yep, still need to install....hahaha. I was going to order my efi system this month, but my business is going strong enough that I need to get a shop. So the money for efi will go to shop rent and depsotis. I guess it will have to wait a little longer.

Messed with the carb some more. I had a stripped fuel bowl bolt and was causing a small gas leak. I had to install a helicoil in the carb which sucked.
I also installed centerhung fuel bowls so no more fuel starvation around turns or hard braking. And I installed an electric choke to replace the hot air choke giving me better cold starting.

I have a new pic with my new tires (Sumitomo HTR 200 205/60R13 rated 87H):
Edit: I also started to refinish my spare wheel. Once I'm done with it I will have my good spare put on the wheel and then I can start to refinish the rest of the wheels.

I haven't done much to the car in a while. I'm still daily driving it. I've been having problems with my new clutch. I have under 15k on it and it is about dead. I would never buy an Exedy clutch again.
