Couple Tech Questions
i would imagine it would be near impossible for me to install myself seeing as my car is front wheel drive and i dont have a lift....right? I did purchase some angel eyes i plan on installing myself but thats more my expertise! haha
mods:CAI, cpe a/f cusomizer, axle back exhaust, twm short throw shift, racing beat .75 inch springs, tower strut bar, hid fog and hid headlamps, tint, evil auto style carbon fiber grill, eyebrows, 18 inch kazera wheels wrapped in bf tires, and growing!

Like others have said, yes a lightened flywheel will effect daily drivability, however it should also allow for faster acceleration, how much faster will be based on how much weight you'll be shaving off. IIRC, SCC put a lightened flywheel on a 350Z a couple years ago, and took it to the track, IIRC they didn't shave much if any time off of the 1/4 mile ET, however the flywheel added around 2mph to the car's trap speeds. They said it just made the car harder to launch which is why it didn't take anything off the ET, so expect launching to become a tad bit harder.
Just a note, I'm not sure what type of racing/motorsport you're into, if any, but lightened flywheels have always been considered more of a road race mod, more than a drag racing mod, not just for the added acceleration benefit, but also because it can help with rev-matching. The last car I drove with a lightened flywheel (my buddy Paterson's '02 WRX) was very difficult to drive smoothly from a stop, and in the lower RPMs sounded like a cement mixing truck. On a plus note, the car was easy to rev-match downshift lol.

I have never had a change in the sound but my car is loud so I may have just not hear the change. It is true about rev-match downshifts, real smooth.
