Car Show In Monument on Sept 6th.

Postby memphis » Fri Aug 21, 2009 9:14

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that theres gonna be Car show on Sunday Sept 6th at the Chilis in Monument. Its a charity event for St. Judes Hospital and all proceeds go towards this charity. Entry fees are just $10 and theres classes broken down for all types of cars. Its a pretty cool event and this is the second anual event here at this store. Last year we had a pretty good turn out and hopefully it will be a good one again this year. If you guys have any questions then hit me up..

I've been so busy with work lately.
Another charity car show. I'm going to have to see if I can clear my schedule over Labor Day weedend. Is there a flyer or website? What time is check-in? and when does it end?

There will be a pancake breakfast for $5 in the chilis. Theres a $10 donation for the car show. There will be raffles and hopefully a local radio remote..

I may go although I'm not sure. I will try to get my wife to cover the show though.

I wish I would've known about it earlier. She would have put it into the paper before hand. SHe did say she could put in a pic for next week.

I stumbled upon the Chili's car show here in Glenwood Springs yesterday. All proceeds were to go to St. Judes Hospital. It was not well advertised especially being its first annual. The car show was listed as a "classic car show" so I didn't enter. I have't been well recieved the two times I entered my Ride in a so called "classic car show". There were a total of 16 cars, all older than 1980's. I showed up and donated several dollars to vote - People's Choice.

I'll have to work next weekend, so I won't be able to make the show next weekend in Monument. Wishing you a better turnout and participation. Let us know how it goes and take some pics to share.
