Meeting Location for the B-Day Bash Saturday!

Postby bmwzoom » Tue Sep 15, 2009 9:14

WHERE: Shell gas station off Colfax and Auraria Parkway in Denver
1300 W COLFAX AVE
DENVER CO 80204

WHEN: Meet at 8:45am to cruise westbound on Colfax to Mazda of Lakewood

WHY: This is a central location to meet to cruise to Mazda of Lakewood,
ALSO, this is where you will be checking in your car and receive your judging sheet.

NOTE: If you do NOT want your car to be judged but still want a spot saved on the lot to park with others please still meet with us at 8:45am at Shell !!!

If you do not come to Shell I cannot guarantee a spot on the lot for you. This is going to be pretty busy with MOL being an official Poker stop for the Colfax Cruise, so I need all our cars together.

[size=167]This will be a fun cruise to start off the celebration!

Once we arrive at MOL I will direct you where to park (Just like we did for the Mazda Mania event) depending on whether or not you are having your car entered in for the trophies.

Any questions? PM bmwzoom directly.

Isn't that kind of early for a show that starts at 11am? Also, to avoid confusion, the BB Bash thread says "show up at 10am"

Yes, I agree, that is early... however you have to remember that when I put down 8:45am we really wont leave Shell until 9:30am and we won't get to MOL until 10am so that gives me only one hour to set up all the cars and for people to get ready to start showing. Judging will start right at 11am. Hope that makes sense.... when I plan stuff to start "on time" I account for all the people who are going to wake up late, forget, get lost, not remember where we are meeting, etc....

Gee whiz Troy - how dare you question Bree! LOL!

As she stated, we need to meet early because we also have some arrangements we need to do once we get to MOL. We're not only sorting our members, we're also sorting other cars that are coming. By having you all set up and ready to go at Shell, this will eliminate the waiting time at MOL. The less you guys have to stand around, the better.

Yes, gates open at 11:00...but we need you guys to be on the lot before then so when people arrive, you're already there. Ever show up at a car show when the cars were just arriving?
