Hi guys!
We are already talking about plans for next year's Bash. We'd love to get your feedback on this year's Bash. Feel free to list what you liked and disliked about the event. We already have a few things we'd like to change. Your thoughts count!
Thanks again everyone!

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it.
Greek8: I swear Angie has some sort of freak car.
What do you guys think about having the raffle prizes drawn in segments. A few here, a few there. I think it would work better if it was a big thing, everyone gathered around and they gave away all the prizes at once.
Everything else went really well. It was a small car show, but it went smooth. Good job to everyone involved!

the judging needs to be done more expeditiously (sp?), and earlier in the day. I also think that the judges (besides Karl), may not have been all that aware of what to look for on our cars. I think next year somebody else WITH A MAZDA should be a judge, that way more appreciation on the work done can be taken into consideration.
More tents too
maybe a sunblock sponsor??
The mafia-like attitude of some of the salesmen walking around were a little annoying too. Maybe next year we ditch the whole "dealership" idea?

I agree Eric. The other Judges seemed to be more confortable with V-8s and not so much into Tuner Mods. I regret not having finishing out judging the rest of the Mazda's. I only got to judge the Speed 6s. I would have been great if the event was on a Sunday and if we could get Mazda (or other import techs) technicians to volunteer to judge the show.
It was also difficult to compare classic cars to import cars for "Best of Show" and other special categories. My suggestion would be to target the show toward Import/Sport Compact with an emphasis on Mazda Classes and start advertising earlier.

+1
i like the dealership and all but if we want more cars next year, i think non-dealership would be good.
seemed like it would be tough fitting more cars there.
I'd like to think if we had an All-Mazda competition, with a few of us doing the judging, we could really get to the bottom line. I liked the mafia BTW.
Doze guys were all up in dat!

But yeah, next year we will have some sort of tent for more shade, you aren't the first person to ask for shade hehe! And I agree, it was a bit much being in the sun THAT long.
