83 is a much more pleasant drive as long as you don't get stuck behind a semi or other slow-moving vehicle in an area where you can't pass them. Then it becomes more stressful than I25 imo. Plus, it would add at least 30 minutes onto my drive home, and when I'm already spending over 2 hours a day just driving to and from work, I'd really rather not lengthen my drive time.

Amen! Had another one this morning, another silverado, 1500 this time, with blacked out head lights, lowered, shiny rims and blacked out emblems, FAIL!

He was in the slow lane on HWY 115 (doing approx 50), no issues there. I get into the fast lane when I see him up ahead of me (about 1/4 mile). In about a mile HWY 115 merges into one lane. As I am passing him doing 60 he guns it. I dropped it into third and left him in my rear view mirror :D

Seriously, WTF is it with 4X4 and pickup drivers? Are they so busy compensating that they can't let someone pass them?

When I drive the Jeep, I'm a MUCH mellower driver. I let everyone pass, and occasionally just exit the roadway and drive through whatever mud I find. :)

Ran another Impala SS today. Light turned green sooner than I expected and I bogged the launch so he immediately pulled 3-4 cars on me. But this time instead of staying even after the launch, by 80 I had passed him and put a car on him when we shut it down. I'm sure he'll tell his friends he won because he might have shut it down just as I was passing him, I'm not sure. But I caught him pretty fast and if we had kept going would have pulled hard away from him so I consider that a win.

I really need to get tuned though. My AFRs in 4th are way too lean for my liking. Upper 12s at times. This OTS map feels good but I'm afraid it's not safe.

You and Impalas love facing off, eh? I rarely see them around town, so you must be more observant than I am.

I've had no reall challenges lately. Other than the normal pickup drivers not wanting to let me pass. Seriously, the good ole boys need to get the F over themselves.

I just get this ass in a V6 2dr Accord try to run me off the road almost every morning. I think that is the only way he thinks he can keep up with my car.

I daily drive my F350 and I don't get jack asses in trucks. My truck is painfully slow. Sure, its got the 460 big block, but the bitch also weighs 12,000lbs. And that 460 has 196,XXX miles and probably pushes under 200rwhp LOL. But over 300 ft-lbs of torque...

Anyways, I don't get why people in trucks feel the need to prevent people from passing. Must be because they are slow and know they can't catch you. I let people pass me all the time- in fact I usually feel bad because sometimes I hold up traffic, especially on I-25 where the speed limit is 75mph. 65 is the end of the world in the truck LOL.

I just don't like it when people cut me off like a douche nozzle, however, as anyone would. You don't want my lifted 12,000lbs 4x4 big block F350 tailgating you. I rear end you, I dent my bumper, you total your car LOL.

Played with a 370Z tonight. Fun, but too much traffic to really open things up. Still, I hung with him pretty well.

Had a few nice runs against my friend's GSX last night. no matter what we did he remained right on my rear bumper. The thing was pretty quick but no match for the awd on the launches haha.
