I saw a Turbo'd Civic try and race an older Audi S4. It was funny. I was in the lincoln. That 1987 V6 kept up with the civic for a while.

They can be made fast if done right. I'm pretty sure there's a guy with a 9 sec Civic in the Springs, but most of them are just giant piles of fail.

I don't think I've seen the 9-second Civic around town, but there's a ricer in my neighborhood with a slammed, fart-can sporting civic hatch. It would be clean if he didn't have the damn fart can on it, but he does. Sounds like a weed whacker driving by.

My buddy, Strat, built his civic up all motor and its roasting boosted cars all over the place. he has had i think 3 or 4 of them previously he used to have a b16a swapped turboed one that was running high 11's on the track but i dont know what happened to it one day i saw him in a different one that he called his new project...sketchy if you ask me but oh well. his civics have mad style tho too like he has a sticker on his gas tank pannel that is of a stick figure bending over and the gas nozzle heading towards the stick figures butt its kinda funny and he has the tater tot that says kill above his exhaust along with some other fun little stickers but its slammed and clean as hell.

I don't see how an all-motor Civic in this altitude can be fast. Sure, at sea level, you can make a decently quick all-motor Civic, but it's MUCH easier to make GOBS of more power with a turbo. And then you factor in our altitude and yeah, going all-motor seems kinda pointless.

There was an all motor Civic running high 10s/low 11s at PMI (the one I mentioned in another thread with the bumper cutouts) a few years ago when I went. I don't know anything about the car, just that he made it very clear (through writing on the car) that he was all motor.

I think a car all motor running 13s in this altitude is pretty impressive. My brother wants his cars to bee faster and he says they should be. He never seems to be happy running mid-low 13s. All he needs to do is take a drive to sea level.

When a friend and I went to Seattle this past summer we rented a regular 3 and that thing felt peppy as hell. Ton of fun to drive. Wasn't until we were on the plane coming home that I realized it was because we were at sea level. But it got me thinking about 3s and somewhat contributed to me purchasing the MS3 a month later.

Challenged this morning by some douche in an ES350 who looked like something out of the New Jersey nightlife scene, with his spiked hair and fake tan. He pulled up beside me, edging forward, looking over at me, edging forward some more. I had no doubt he wanted to gun it, get in front of me, then slow down for the upcoming exit.

I got to the exit about 2 bus lengths before him. lol.

I don't know what it is but when I beat some rich guy in his luxury sedan it makes me grin :D

I had another one today. Blacked out Crown Vic (police/ gangsta style, dual exhaust, spot light, use your imagination).

At the same light turning left onto HWY 115 from Academy (lanes merge to 1 very quickly). I was on the outside lane and still beat him, LOL. He was mad too because he tailed me as I steadily cruised in the slow lane at 60 :)

yeah, that's the best part, not even having to speed to frustrate them. Just get TO the speed limit, then cruise control it while they piss and moan.

Challenged today by a guy in a Passat 3.6 wagon. He's challenged me before, and honestly, the wagon is pretty quick.

Not as quick as an MS6, but I like the sound of the 3.6. Nice growl to it, for a wagon. Still like the Audi wagons better, but that Passat one isn't too shabby.
