Cool projects chris. Are you going to put half walls where the railins are or do you feel that will close the space up a little?

I'm going to put open railing where the existing railing are. I'm having trouble finding pics similar to what I'm doing.

The new ones will be 4" apart (code), the old ones were about 7" apart.

We tested it with our friends 2yr old and she could climb through it without a problem.
